Senseless post really, but thought yall might get a kick out of this...

I'm a smoker that doesn't smoke in his house and definatly not his vehicles. Went outside to spark one up before heading to bed and noticed that I had completely veered away from my smoking habbit by grabbing my keys when I walked out the door (out of habbit). I walked out to my car without a cigerette one in my hand and started my car and walked circles around it, listening to it as if it were an ocean wave crashing against the shore line with sea gulls off in the distance, like the relaxation tapes. This was completely unintentional. It's 8:00pm central and 30 degrees outside. I was in my boxers for a solid 30 minutes just walking circles around my idling pony in the pitch black darkness. Keep in mind I have only had my car for a tad over a week, so be gentle. [&o]

Is this normal doc, or am I bordering on obsessive-compulsive?

good job on not smoking heh. When i first got my car i went outside to like check on it every hour for the first few days lol. what can i say, i love it ^_^

 

Sounds rational to me. It a scientific fact that things sound better in the cold any way. The air is denser and sound waves... never mind. I love the cold and the sound of a mustang. Plus, breathing stang fumes beats tobacco fumes any day IMO.

 

lol I know what you mean man... I used to smoke(regularly) and I did something similar. I actually just grabbed the keys, got in, started it up and then was like what the hell am I doing?? Unconciously our stangs stay on our mind at all times!!!

 

I smoked, then I bought the stang, and I started chewing, now I'm quitting chew.

 

my room faces where i park the first night i kept waking up every few hours to go look at it, i actualy chased this cat that sleeps on cars around here b/c the hood is still warm b/c i didnt want dirty paw prints on her

 

dont feel too bad. last summer when i bought my 67' i was out at 4 a.m. driving it around with no lights, brakes or license plates, with all the bees and mice still in it.
