Default Question for you all???

Raced a guy tonight in another fox body. He beat me by 4-6 car lengths in the quarter mile street racing. I was wondering how many tenths of a sec that would be. So I need to know how much i need to do to my car to beat him.

Default Question for you all???

depends on the speeds you are running. 4 car lengths at 300 mph is differant than 4 car lengths at 10 mph. what do you have done to your car??

Default Question for you all???

I dont know where you all live but i wish i lived there. Does the drag strips not close for the winter where you are from? I dont know how many times i have asked people on here what they think times would be and they say just take it to the drag strip. Its a lil obvious that i cant do that otherwise i wouldnt get on here and ask what times i would run.

Default Question for you all???

I have a 91 gt aod with ford racing 3.73 gears, mac shorty headers, mac off road h-pipe, mac cat back exhaust, mac underdrive pulleys, mac cold air intake, mac 70 mm throttle body, trick flow track heat upper and lower intake manifold, and a shift kit in my tranny. I need a 76 mm mass air and a 2500 stall.Dude i raced had pretty much the same setup except he has the mass air meter that i dont and he has a 5 speed so he can stall his car off the line. I figure the stall and mass air meter with advanced timing would be enuff for me to beat him or at least run within a half car length

O ya and if my car would run 300 mph i wouldnt be street racing it. I think slowing down and stopping form that speed would be a lil scary speacially when u can barely find a straight stretch long enuff to race down around here. LOL

Default Question for you all???

ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN ON THE STREET!!!!!if he was running a sticky tire that would be one of the major results. im currently running[or when it wasnt covered insnow] etstreets and i was easily capable of pulling 5-6 car lengths on ppl with the close to the same power as i have. a stall and stickies makes a world of a difference. or highreving and releasing hte clutch with stickies makes a world of a difference
