i have a stock '90 lx and i'm about to buy an exhaust kit and shorty headers. i was just wondering what everones thoughts were on a cam and lifter kit and also what kind of cam everyone would suggest. b303? e303? any feedback is much appreciated my goal for the car eventually is a 300hp weekend driver. advice on other upgrades would be great too.

bingo... wich cam you choose is best determined by what heads and intake you go with. when you say 300hp do you mean to the wheels ?

doesn't take much to get 300 crank hp. start with full exhaust, gears, UDPs, K&N panel filter, 65mm TB...if you're not happy with the results and want just a tad more go for an E cam and some 1.7 RR. if you feel you want something closer to 300rwhp, hold off on the cam and RR until you choose some heads and intake.

stock will be fine unless you do heads and intake.
