so i got this mustang a few weeks ago and now the dam things is acting up..... i bought a new fuel pump and filter, the filter was brown, and it's still missing, so i just ordered 24lb/hr injectors, will i need a better fuel pump.
p.s. it's getting spark and everything, just missing alot at low rpm..
advice??

 

I wouldnt' waste money on larger injectors unless you are planning on upgrading other things in the near future. Waste of money. You are getting spark but is the spark making it into the cylinder? When you say at low RPM, is that under a load as in while driving it?

 

try closing the plug gap way down to about .035...if it runs right you have a spark issue.

my guess is the distributor module, or coil, or plugs or cap or rotor or plug wires........

 

yah it gets spark at the plug!? yeah it misses like when i'm just cruising, when i step on it it's pretty weak but can't feel it miss in the same way as if a plug wire wasn't on, just sputters while cruising, im gona try a ignition module tomorrow

 

Wow sounds like my problem. Read my post and see if it sounds similar. "Car stumbles bad(misses) occasionally." prob on this same page.
