My BBK regulator was one of the easiest mods and great upgrades when I did mine.

Can an adj. FPR be installed without removing the upper intake manifold? How hard is it to install if you go that route? I've also noticed that people will buy the regulator without the gauge, what's up with that, how would you know what fuel pressure you're at? and where exactly does the gauge go?

I think in one of Black Snakes problem threads it says somewhere that you can install it with the upper still on but you cna only get 2 outa the 3 bolts in but its still sturdy enough. Its prolly a little harder doing this than taking it off but if you take it off its going to be mroe work. And i have no idea how you know what psi your at if you dont get the gauge.

If you dont have a gauge there is no way to tell. Its pretty much pointless to get it w/out the gauge. And also, I dont know why people say that BBK's guel reg's are garbage because I had no problem with mine and it took me 5 minutes to install it and it worked fine. And yes thats true, you can only get in 2 of the 3 bolts but I guess you can if you figure out a way. Its def. sturdy enough w/ 2 though.

seriously dont get the bbk i have heard of problems with them, i have never heard of problems with a aeromitive they cost a lil more but they work great. and no dont try to skimp out and not take the upper intake off, just do it its not that hard, it makes life a lot nicer, because then you can take the fuel rails off and then it only takes like 3 min to take the old one off put the new one on, then the rest of the time puttin it back togeater, you need all 3 bolts in their if not it will leak if someone only has 2 bolts in their and it does not leak dont go try and run it because it will start to leak it may take time but it will.

My BBK is working wonders right now, took me all of 20 Minutes to install it , mostly because the Egr was in the way and had to remove it. As for the 2 out of 3 bolts yea it was hard getting the last one in but I just had to get it started a little bit and had it in.
