i have the chrome bbk headers and after 2 days , the headers turned blue. </P>

normal...the heat does that

 

Ya headers reach insane temperatures

 

if u buy ceramic ones they dont

 

ceramic stay silver.

the stainless header on my subaru turned brown. so did the stainless high flow cat.

 

this is why I never would buy new chrome headers I buy them used cheap and have the coated

 

If you the Jet Coated Headers they shouldn't. But if you got them with out it. They will turn blue.

 

you souldnt have started it ,hell i got a dohc i cant even see my headers. dont worry about it

 

who looks at headers anyways. looks dont make you fast. but the ceramic is alittle cooler running temps. but after a while the chrome will wear off and rust.

 

I have always liked the way the headers turn blue.Its normal for them to discolor but if this is a carb check to see if you are slightly running lean.If its efi its pretty much self adjusting and dont worry about it.</P>


Just be thankul they didnt have paint on them.They stink to hell and back and smoke.</P>
