Default need help deciding on future mods

Hi everyone. I am 18 years old and I just finished my first semester at the University of Arizona. Go CATS! Anyway I bougt my 87 GT vert a few months ago and I plan on adding a few things in a couple of weeks. It already has the flows and ford racing spark plug wires, but everytihing else is stock. I want to get some headers and an X or H pipe. What brand should I go with and what type of headers?

i kind of have a small budget. I think that would be a problem with bassani. I want a deep but smooth roar, what do you think about the o/r H pipe from mac?

I like the x pipe, plus its been dyno proven to produce more hp. As for headers unequals are easier to install but the equals produce 2-3 more hp.

yeah there isnt much of a difference between the unequal and the equal so it just depends on if you want a easier install or a harder install. The difference between the H and the X pipe is the H has a deeper tone and a little less hp and the X has a raspier sound with a little more hp about the same as the headers 2-3 hp it just depends on if you want a deep tone or a raspier tone. Mac doesnt make that bad of parts i havent had any problems with there parts some ppl have but i havent

I've heard good and bad about MAC. I'd go w/ an X-pipe (BBK is good) and since u'r driving a vert, get some full length subframes if you haven't already. they'll make a world of difference.
