New Ignition
What does it do exactly? Yea, stupid question to you but I know nothing. I thought the ignition is what you put your key in to start your car? If that's the case, why would people want a better one?
It's an ignition module that is mounted inside the engine bay, say from a company like MSD or Accel, that can adjust timing, but mainly provides more voltage to spark plug for more spark power to ignite all the compressed gas/air in the cylinder. Usually used with larger injectors or forced induction, the unit acts like a transformer and will increase the car's power due to a higher/more complete burn, thus driving the piston down harder, to turn the back wheels more easily.
ignition welll not add notisable power but responds is inproved and if you get the right one you get 2 rev limiters and multi retards(for NOS or forced) buy a good unit MSD A6 plus no reaon to buy anything else is under $300.00 in summitt Racing
