Default Headers

I know the "headers" on the '86 fox bodies leave a bit to be desired. Is it worth the trouble/cost to replace them or is it sufficient enough to open up the rest of the exhaust with a proper H or X pipe? This is a street car, will not see the track. Looking for sound and what ponies I can get at minimal cost.

Default RE: Headers

the gain isn't that much but it does flow a little better than stock. equal give more HP (like +1,2 more) and unequal gives more torque(like +1,2 more) equal is just a pain to put in

if you get headers you might wanna get high flow cats or even an off road pipe(if you got hook-ups) to compliment it along with a cat-back system

Default RE: Headers

If you are even going to fool with it, get full lenght headers. Shorty types will only truly work at hi-RPM any way no matter what is used in back of them......
