my car started to grind going from 3rd to 4th and 5th to 4th y? every other gear is fine and it seems to be getting worse bin doing it for about a month.

maybe your clutch cable needs adjusting or something.

 

did you install a aluminum clutch quadrant? Or could be your syncros?

 

i do have a aluminum clutch quadrant and the ajusment is all the way out the clutch is going bad it don't slip yet but it is ajusted all the way out it just started doing it out of the blue and don't do it in any other gear o well revers but it did that win i got the car 40k+ miles ago

 

where is the clutch trying to engage at bottom or top of the pedal

 

Your tranny is busted it's a T-5 and happens to almost everyone with a 5.0, need replacement or rebuild.

 

Its just sounds like worn out blocker rings..not a very expensive fix..
