Default Exhaust

I am thinking about cutting my exhaust on my 90 LX. The chrome tips at the end rattle, and they are ugly. I am thinking of cutting them right behind the front seats, has anyone else done this to their mustang? Will it effect the performance in any way?

Default RE: Exhaust

It won't do much for you performance wise and you will loose low end torque. If your really want to do it anyway I would recommend just taking the mufflers off. Just unbolt them and take the mufflers and tailpipes off. This way you can put it back on later because I think your going to regret taking it off.
