Default Polish intake

Is it possable to polish my intake?? I have a 94 302, 5.0 liter.. stock intake... to I have to send it to a shop or somthing? can I do it myself?

yes it is aluminum, so you can polish it. You can send it to a shop or spend the 10+ hours and do it yourself. I personally would sandblast and powdercoat it a chrome silver color. If your up for the work, go for it

^^^Agree....if you do it yourself you will have tons of man hours into not to mention the time it will take to up keep it so the finish will stay nice and reflective..I would just look into powercoat or maybe even have it cerimac coated.

how would I polish it? sand paper I take it? what kind would I use and how do I do it?

It seems like the cobra intake is got a differnt finish are somthing then the edelbroke and the stock 302 GT intake...but idk I would like to just get it painted

dont just paint it, if your gonna do it at least make it looks nice, paint is gonna chip and peel. Sandblast and powdercoat it

Yea, it would be pretty cheap to powdercoat that too. I wouldnt say more than $40-60 dollars.
