Ok the best i can explain this.. i have a 86 GT 5-speed and it seems 3 and forth gear between 30 mph and -45 mph this nasty vibrating happens and i dont know where from... it only hapens between 30-45 mph and after that speed it stops.... and if i cruise at 35 or somthing it wont do it it only does it when im accelerating between 30-45 si any idea what it could be?? my dad suggested the u-joints or somthing but i dunnno

could be the drive shaft or maybe flywheel just a guess. Dad could be right

try getting the drive shaft balanced

where would i go to get that balanced and how much would that cost?

I would say get an aluminum drive shaft but that is just me.I got one for $200 brand new. but I would take my old one and have it checked first to see if its ok</P>

i dunno this just started happening today so i dont think its the driveshaft i mean it only hapens between 30-45 if it was the driveshaft it would happen more than that... so it has to be somethin else

the whole care it feels like its not really violent but you can tell its vibrating

maybe a wheel out of ballance?

does it do it at that speed where out of gear coasting? it could about 10 thing this will narrow it down for me
