Shifter poll, like or dont like
Hey everyone, it seams that we get a lot of post about what shifter is the best, so im going to make a poll with the top leading shifters, now select what shifter you have/or like the most. tell us what you like and don't like about it and why. thanks
Me i have a pr0 5.0 i love it, now i have never used a steeda but from what i hear, i may try one in my next mustang.

pro 5.0 here, LOVE it... i've driven a stang with a steeda and it was allright (better than stock) but i would never trade my pro 5.0 for it, in fact my buddy who had the steeda traded it for a pro 5.0 not too long ago and he'd never go back either. i also have a steeda tri-ax in my focus, wich is pretty much the same as stock except about an inch and a half shorter, wasn't worth it in this case. i'm confident that anybody that has actually driven both will say the pro 5.0 is better.

pro5.0 is what i have, i have driven a car with a tri-ax and couldnt hit third if my life depended on it. I also know someone who has a tri-ax in his 5.0 and he couldnt hit third either. but MGW is the shortest throw out there

No problem BLKFIFTYGT, that's what I was thinking make a post so everyone can say what they have and how they like it and someone should make it a sticky so new members can read it instead of asking so this is one less post that keeps coming back. so it would be nice if everyone that has a aftermarket shifter reply's.

its not hte shifter that doesnt allow you to hit a gear its the fact that you are improperly postioned in the seat along with not knowing how to drive
stock shifter works fine as long as its not abused. i only went to a tri-ax over stock is cause of the stops. stock shifter did me just fine and i shift just as fast with the stock compared to tri-ax. and dont sit there and say if i had a pro50 i would shifter faster. i doubt that. most shifters are the same. if you want a low shifter then go for one that allows you to be low. i like mine at stock height

Yea quik, im with ya but my stock shifter was warn out and the handle was bent from someone beating the thing to death i guess, so i got the pro 5.0. if you cant drive, a short throw shifter is not going to help you shift better.
