MSD

Guys,

Just curious, whats the purpose of MSD? I wanted to add it in my car but dont know what it really does. I have a stock 91 GT. Dang, I feel dumb!

msd/ crane/accel/jacobs//...all forms of advancement of spark/fuel burn...more spark

Yes, actually, I knew the more spark part of it, is there anything else I need to know? and how much do they cost?

Couple hundred bucks give or take. If your car is all stock, you really won't get any bennies from them. Use your money for other mods.

coil 54/dis.250/wires/75/6al box 150ish....thats basically it more useful ignition spark

The MSD box delivers multiple sparks instead of a single spark during cumbustion making sure that all the gas in the chamber is burnt making more power.
