any recommedation of new plug wires? msd, ford racing, accel? 8,8.5 or 9 mm? any one have a strong opinion? ready to get a new set, just not sure which ones to buy, leaning toward the blue ford racing ones. thanks.

 

FMS 9mm. Great product for the money!!!

 

MSD, Either Heli-cores or the red ones are great.

 

All depends on how much you wanna spend, the msd are a little more costly, but i oppted for them.

 

The Helicores are only 35 bucks.

The only problem is you hafta make your own lenghts

 

For the money and the performance, I would suggest the Ford Racing 9mm, alot of people use them and there are very little complaints. I'm in the same boat as you right now, I would like to get the red FRPP 9mm wires, but I'm still trying to find a good reason to spend 45 bucks on plug wires. What's the reason for changing yours?

 

are these reccomended plug wires for a basocally stock car? cause im about to change mine in the next couple days and i would like to know whatkind to buy....

 

the reason is i am going to completely change out my ignition system to msd, coil, dist & 6al box. the wires on the car now look old, possibly original, but i doubt that. that is the reason. does fms or msd make wires that are black in color, or just blue & red ? thanks.

 

you could look at the taylor wires or splitfire wires too

I have th esplitfire ones on my car and they work great

 

That's a good enough reason for me to order some too I suppose.
