Personally, I want some that will last and not rust or corrode. If you go w/ ceramic coated, you shouldn't have to worry about that, but that costs more sometimes.

If you want the most durable header you can get, Ford Racing (FRPP), JBA, and Bassani (not the BX series) use stainless steel. FRPP is the cheapest of those, and you can get theirs Jet-Hot coated from Summit for $309--that's the cheapest I found anywhere.

I wouldnt always say that. My MAC LT's were ceramic coated and I only drove it less than 700 miles in 2 years and they rusted out BIG TIME! It depends who does the coating...

on the same issue, I have been looking at headers. I have a catless h-pipe right now with the stock exhaust manifold. Now when you guys say shorty equal length...is that the same set up as the stock length. I don't want to have to buy another h-pipe, so what length would be the best to go with?
