Hey guys, I just needed to know what is the absolute best electric fan that I could put on my Fox. After I put the turbo on everything is running super hot for obvious reasons and my current fans says it is only good for motors up to 250 hp and I currently have 372 hp to the wheels.

 

You can go with a BeCool setup. They are prob some of the best setups you can buy but I must warn you... they are very expensive.

 

Alright cool. Do you know what fan they sell that'll be good for a stang with over 800 hp? i don't really wanna buy a new radiator cuz mine is actually a bigger one than the one that they sell with the kits.

Also, a new thermostat will also help keep engine temp down too right? How hard is it to change those out?

 

1) What the hell are you doing to your motor now ?? 800hp?!? Cant you just be happy w/ a single 66mm Turbo?!?!
2) I would call BeCool and see what they say... they are the pro's; not me
3) thermostat is very simple to change.

i use a spal dual 11inch fan set up that is good for 1000hp, it works nice. they are not very louid ither. i think the fans were 270 plus wiring. i use a ford racing radator to. if you want pics let me know. i will get you some.

 

I am having trouble with the cooling of my motor now. Plus I will be getting a 331 or a 347 that I plan on boost even higher than the original motor.

Can't I just be happy with a 66mm turbo? Hell no. You know how it is. You get one thing and your mind starts wondering what else you could do. I plan on eventually having a 1000 hp street driven car. ha ha ha. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

you should ad a nitrous spraybar in front of your intercooler for a little extra horsepower. i have always been afraid of nitrous after i have seen a fully built race engine blow up and the hood litterally blew off the car. here is the link for a nitrous intercooler. i dont really know, bcool makes wonderful things. my dad has a bcool on his 41 chevy(i know sorry) and he is pushing around 660 rhp and it keeps his car cool. he just turns his fans on at stop lights when the car is just idleing and not moving.
