that is your best bet it will hold around 400 horsepower so it would be safe. the pedal effort is not much harded than stock so it would be a good choice in my opinion.

i used a king cobra clutch and tought it was trash, look into a centerforce, for example my used centerforce worked better than the new king cobra, so i put the centerforce back in, mineis the gold one triple friction or something. FMS paroducts are not as good as other after market parts and are the same price or more shop around.

your centerforce was probably a dual friction, there are also the centerforce I (30% greater than stock) andcenterforce II (60% gts). The dual friction has 90% better grip than the stock one. you can get them through jegs and they cost about as much as a king cobra clutch.

the flywheel isnt included in the kit. the centerforce will have MUCH more grip than stock off the line and should wear about the same as stock, maybe a little shorter.

whoa now. where did you find centerforce clutches for as much as the king cobra?!?! my king cobra cost 200. centerforce is around 300-350 last time i checked...maybe i'm wrong? either way, i love my king cobra clutch. smooth, no chatter, and strong as hell. EDIT-get a new flywheel? i wouldn't do that. it makes the ride too rough. and you guys are saying that like it's cheap. flywheels cost about the same as a clutch, if not more...i wouldn't do it even if i had the cash. <edited><editID>FiveOhNo</editID><editDate>38032.0399189815</editDate></edited>

Sure, get a new flywheel, I am going to get one when I get a new clutch, in about a year. Every poung that the engine doesn't have to crank is more power to the tires. If nothing else, it will make you revs in neutral sound better because the throttle will be more responsive.
