this is pointless gossip but still extremely funny

this kid i work with said his 1980 f250 with a 5.0L is pumping out over 600hp at the crank and like 550 to the wheels.

i pop the hood and see nothing to backup his claim. 600cfm carb.. like $150 rpm intake.. and there was puddles of coolant everywhere. he showed me the "legendary" dyno chart. it didnt say anything. it was just a bar graph that said hp and torque. no a/f.. no time no date.. basicaly a pile of bull.

after all this talking im finaly like ok well lets see wat this 600hp monster can do to my auto 5.0L. were side by side on a 2 lane road and out of no where he just floors it. i didnt do anything i just waited till he slowed down so we could line up. again we get even and no honk or anything, he just goes. so i say f* it and just keep it floored. walked that truck like it was goin in reverse.

Yeah ppl like that are wack i used to think all fox body guys were like that. U know the type... get in their car it reaks of weed/newports its of course got 400,000 miles on it (but his uncles best friend from the hoods drug dealer rebuilt it before he bought it) and he thinks it pushes like a porshe becuase it says MUSTANG
