Hey everyone, my car got safety certified today! AFTER 9 MONTHS of owning it . Anyway i've got the emissions test booked for tomorrow and i'm just looking for some cheap stuff to imporve my chances of passing, i'm gonna get new plugs, rotor and cap, and some fuel injector cleaner but what else would you guys recommend?

 

1) Fill her full of 87 octane.
2) Retard initial timing (spout connector out) to 6-8 degrees.
3) Get the car nice and hot before you take her in.

Worked for me. I have no smog pump and have a large cam with aftermarket heads.

 

I heard you can unbolt the mid pipe just a little bit....like a crack will do ...and then it'll let most of the emissions out of the crack..and you'll pass....[8D]

 

i'm sure thats illegal and a huge fine if u get caught... i don't have emmisions so i wouldn't know any of the tricks, but yea 87 octane makes the emissions drop, new plugs, sea foam, change oil

 

just saying i heard it...

 

run the **** out of it. I went through with a catted bbk x-pipe and my numbers weren't even close i was shocked
