Default Sore foot..

Does anyone else get a sore foot from a stiff clutch? Ive only had my car like a month, and its my first standard, But my left foot hurts like hell. Right on the ball where i always push it in with its really sore. Anyone else get this? It should go away soon right?

First off do you have an adjustable clutch cable?
Second you need to take if out and lube it with some oil real good and make sure it is routed properly.
Third aftermarket clutches in 5.0's are stiff but proberly not as stiff as yours is

And last does your clutch pedal have any side to side movement? might need pedal bushings

ill try lubing the cable up. as far as i know its a stock clutch, the lady i got the car off of bought it in 91 and never changed the clutch. And the clutch is still good, doesnt slip or anything. could the original clutch last that long?

mines still kicking @ 130K, my last 5.0 was ~180K and the original clutch still had some life left in it

I would advise against the adjustable cable

aluminum quadrent + OEM cable + firewall adjuster is your best bet
