Default Seat Belts

Well my seat belts havent been working for a while now (Not locking) and since I am about to go to college (Long drive on the weekend) I am looking into fixing them. The problem seems to be my retractors, but I cant seem to find replacement ones. Is it reasonable to try to fix the broken retractors myself, or would it be cheaper/easier to get a harness that mounts elsewhere? This car IS my daily driver.

Default RE: Seat Belts

someone told me i just need to run some line to the brake switch so that they will lock whenever i hit the brakes. Mine arent locking either btw. I have to yank and let go real fast to get them to roll up.

Get some 4 point or whatever racing harnesses, they should fit on any seat really... you can't move but at least you wont die.

If you can, get some really cheap racing seats...
