i was jus wondering im taking my stang out for the 1rst time next friday . what do you guys think my car would run in time wise and speed . motor is all stock other then the carb and rear end is stock and exhaust . one of my cousins wanna bet me that i cant run any better then 18's but if i cant run any better then 18's motor will come out that night lol . and what rpm should i launch at . my back tires are bald as hell but on street i can get them to hook nice sometimes .

 

dont launch, take off like your pulling out infront of traffic.

and my guess for the car... high 14s.. my guess for u tho, anywhere in the 15s

 

ok thats what i was maybe thinking time wise any where from 15's to low 16's when he was tryin to tell me my car would run in 18's i told him hell no im not gonna drive it like a g/ma ill drive it like i stole it . but shtty thing is i cant bang 2nd and 3rd gear so im sure ill loose time there cause cant shift it to quick or it will grind in those gears damn trannys lol

 

What elevation are you at? If you are at or near sea level I'm going to guess high 15's to mid 15's.
