Ok, a good friend of mine is gettin a 97 transam with the lt1 engine in it friday. He drove it today and told me it was fast as hell. It is all stock accept for MAYBE a cold air intake another and possibly another little bolt on. I have beat a 02 lt1 6 speed transam before, but it was because a horrible driver mods on his part. This car is also a 6 speed. Is it goin to completely blow me out of the water. What will it take me to beat this car. I have full exhaust accept for headers, Underdrive pulleys, cold air intake, msd tfi module, 295's in the back and skinnies up front, and POSSIBLY 4.10's put in by the guy who owned the car before but im not sure. What do you guys think???

im pretty sure a 2002 would be an ls1, and with the mods u listed i doubt u would win, lt1s run low 14's
