coilover question

Default coilover question

who here has installed coilovers on a foxbody. I couldnt get mine to go i right, it was like to bushings were too big. the top of the shock didnt come up nearly enought to get the nut on, i had to cut the bottome bushing in half to get it al to work, and if fits knd of loose, anyone else run into this.

Yout have to cut the metal guide that goes through the bushing. I had to take about 3/4 of an inch off then they bolted down just fine. BTW I couldn't get my caster to come close to getting in spec when I aligned the car. I moved the k member and everything, it just wasnt' going to happen. Your going to need caster camber plate to get everything aligned. If you go as low in the front as I did your going to need a bumpsteer kit too, I have horrible bump steer.
