I recently had a chance to buy a 94 5.0 with custom exhaust and about the same miles for 3500 but then in decided to get an 89 gt

 

+1 ... I just bought a 94 myself, don't see many sn95's around much.. looks like it is in great condition.6k is not unreasonable, but I would obviously try to talk him down.

 

i paid 6 for mine with 95000 miles on it.. the rims an tires alone were 2grand. you could talk him down

Assuming a dealer has the car, $5500 – $6500. Not sure what drugs some of you guys are on $3500!! WTF are you that out of touch with the market?

if he takes 6 for it do it... u will be getting a good deal.

7k is kinda pushing it. most ppl ask a grand over what its worth because they know u will try to barter.

and whoever said 3500 is on crack...

 

it must be the region you guys are in cause those things are a dime a dozen in the northeast definately get a car like that no problem for under 5.

plus there are different kind of buyers. someone who needs a car now to get to work and someone who is looking to get a deal and knows with time he could probably get the same thing for under 5k. if you don't need a car anyways then why rush and get ripped of.
