do the speakers go behind the carpet on the bottom facing the front seats? that seems to be the concensus. do you have switches in the rear for the windows or just on the driver's door?

dude you have switches for the rear passengers to roll their own window down, and the speakers are behind the plastic not the carpet, you have to remove the 1/4 trim/plastic arm rest whole panel to get the speakers out

ok so the speakers are behind the plastic panel. I can assure you that there are no switches for the rear windows in the rear. where are they suppossed to be located?

the problem is this....when i bought the car they had made holes above the armrest for speakers. but when they cut the hole they hit the window motor. so im guessing either the switches are inside the panel somehwere or they cut them out. If I take off that speaker grill (which has no speaker in it just sopme black cardboard to cover the screw up) I can see the window motor.

ok, well then either replace your panels or just dont worry about the rear switches, i bet they are just laid inside the panel somewhere no reason to unhook or cut them off, pull the panel and see what they did to it all, not that hard jsut a few screws

I would double check the fit. In my car it is still the stock speakers and they are behind the black carpet in the pic I had, they are just underneath the red armrest facing straight forward.. In order to remove them you must take off that entire rear panel. it is one piece the armrest has no holes in mine. The stock location for the rear window switches is above the armrest, if you look at the pic I had it is right in the top middle of the pic.

DAMN MAN, I have 5 days to get my car ready for a 2000 mile journey. miami, atlanta, northcarolina, norfolk, then ohio, then michigan. I hope all this crap can get done in time. On and I still need to install my longtubes and get the H pipe shortened. any shortcuts would be appreciated as far as figuring out why those back windows wont go down using the driver controls.
