Default Leaving

Figured I'd say goodbye, I'm shipping out Friday at the butt crack of dawn to Quantico, Va. for USMC Officer Candidates School (boot for officers, basically). It's a 6 week increment, I'll have another 6 next summer then 6 months of advanced training after graduation/comissioning. With the shin problems I've been having there's a chance that I'll be NPQ'd (not physically qualified) with a stress fracture, but due to already having missed the 1st increment last summer when I was supposed to go (motorcycle got hit, broke a few bones) I need to go and give it my best and just pray my shins don't die. If they do hold out, I'll be back 17 Aug (just in time for Woodward...thank God). So until then, everyone have fun... wish I was doing the same

Chris

Good luck buddy. I have love for every one in the mil. I served from 89-95. Best decision i ever made. If not for the military i would never be who i am today(better but still have problems lol) A lot of the punks i grew up with are still 36 year old punks with records and living in trailer parks.

Best of luck, glad to hear you are going to try and make it work. When you get back we can try and meet up and burn off the rest of our rubber for the year
