Default dropping compression ratio

What are the easiest ways to lower compression ration. The mustang I am purchasing has to high of compression, I would like to drop it by 1. I have read on more aggresive cam, and putting thicker headgasket. Anyone have easier ways to drop the c/r? thanks

easy fix? back the timing off a few degrees and make sure your running premium - that should help significantly

thicker head gaskets will only get you so far, and the drop is probably not worth the tear down. where is the compression supposed to be right now? (keep in mine 98% of the time peoples compression is lower than they think it is anyways)

The compression is way to high right now, 11.5:1. On top of that it is supercharged. I am dropping boost to 6-8psi. I will have it tuned where I will take some timing and add some fuel. Along with some cooler plugs I was hoping that I could run that on premium at the altitude I am at(5400ish)
