Got my boost gauge installed
I knew that I wasn't pushing too much boost since I've still got the underdriven crank pulley on. After I installedthe boost gauge a few days ago and took it for a little cruise, I was amazed when my boost peaked at only 1.5 psi lol. I could actually feel the difference with that little bit of boost, I can't believe what it's going to feel like when I swap on my F150 pulley (will produce around 5-6 psi). I've also got an 8" pulley that should produce around 11-15 psi. That 8 inch pulley will get swapped on when I've got a beefed up tranny, some 42's, anda recalibrated MAF. But for now the F150 pulley will suffice. I just thought that I'd give you guys a little update
Here's some pictures, the gauge is an Auto Meter Ultra Lite Pro Comp. I think it cost me 40-50 dollars for the gauge and 27 dollars for thegauge podso it was definentally in my price range. I like the metal face on it too, looks pretty sharp IMO. I also wired the light for it tocome on when I turn my driving lightsand head lights on.
