Glad to hear your ok for the most part and good to hear your not a street squid and wore a helmet I can relate.

I went down hard back in 91. Was riding a Honda Interrupter also. Last time I looked at the speedo I was 90+ and rolled off the gas just before the intersection. Police measured my skid marks at 69 mph I wasn't gonna argue. Hit a bad spot in the road. Head left an impact crater in the asphalt Shoei GX-1 best $200 I ever spent. Broken shoulder blade, collar bone (shoulder is still a 1/2” shorter than the other), ribs, punctured and collapsed a lung, bruised my heart. Not counting all the obligatory road rash. My brother actually road the bike home!
