I've never been in a car with nitrous. whats it like?

the only interpretation of nitrous i've ever seen is in "the fast and the furious" is nitrous really a kick in the azz the way they make it seem?

just give me an idea of what nitrous is like.... i think i might get my first ride with nitrous next weekend with a friend

 

Its like having another motor. Once you use it you'll never want to be without it.

 

so the fast and the furious isnt really that far out of line with the type of "reaction" the car gives you. minus all the otherBS going on around.

i know this sounds so stupid relating to this retarded azz movie but its all i've seen.

 

Depending on the "shot" used, it doesnt have that slam you in the seat effect like it does in the movie.

 

if you ride in a 400hp stang and the powerband kicks in at 3K
and you have a 200hp stang and the 200shot is sprayed at 3K rpms
and the cars were identical weight, drivetrain and everything it would feel the same. both make 400hp, ones just turbo'd or somthing and one is sprayed.

 

well what size shot are you going for?


i mean i have a 100 shot, and it kicks in thats for sure, and you can feel it, but not like that movie by any means... its more hp then tq, u feel tq.... so will you notice... yes... as much as u expect to... no

 

You need to spray it on a dyno and I think you'll change this statement. I gained 141rwhp 188rwtq on a 150 shot and 176rwhp 246rwtq on a 175 shot. You always get more torque. You're just not spraying enough.

 

I dont think so isn't there more torque coming from spray than a turbo or blower
