anyone ever used summit's brand ceramic shorty headers? are they any good?

 

They are really flowtech headers. I don't know about the shorties but there longtubes quality is horrible. Everything on the longtubes is slip fit and when I moked them up some runners were too long or needed to be bent. I ended up sending them back.

I run the summit shorty headers. They're not ceramic though. But I love them. I've had no problems with them and they are a hell of a lot better than stock!

 

I heard good things, summit is the same as BBK and flowtech, without the name stamped on them...

I'm gonna run a summit O/R pipe and catback can have an entire exhaust from summit for less than 300[8D][8D]


but I may swap out the mufflers for some 2 chamber flows....

 

would i be able to pass emissions test with these?

 

i bought some summit shorties. the fit and finish was pretty impressive. i never fitted them though. i sent them back because they won't fit gt40p's...

 

they are awesome, i use em and i love em. summit ceramic shorties woo!!

they look awesome

 

thanks for all the input. i was able to score a set brand new for like 150. i thought it was a good deal for ceramics.
