Default Traction

Hey, I have an 88 mustang with 4:10 gears and a 5 speed. Whenever I try to race I always spin a lot off the line. Anyone have any tips for me???

That's what happens in a light car witha V8 and 4.10's. Either get slicks etc like PRO50SC said, or REALLY wide street tires that are decent, or just pedal it outta the hole

Upper and lower control arms really help. My car still gets a little squirlly sometimes when I romp on it in 1st and2nd but normally2nd and 3rd don't have much problem getting traction. Drag radial make a hell of a difference on the street, you won't have traction problems with them.

are you really wondering why a 5speed w. 300ft/lbs of tq and 4.10s wont hook on what i assume is stock suspension and a street tire?

get a real tire and ur be good to go

Feather the pedal. It takes some practice. Lots of practice
