Default Cold air

Hey guy's i got a 89 Mark VII with the 302 5.0 ho engine . looking to find a cold air intake that will go down into the fender well but i can't seem to find one. so i was thinkn fabricate one but problem with that is what type of tubing should i use ? post up thx guys.

Why would you want to do that? Just remove the air silencer and install a K&N. You'll get the same performance.

A CAI or a homemade one with parts form the home improvement plumbing depatment would be benefical to the 302. Also any exhaust work would further enhance any gains from intake work. I could be wrong, but a Fox Body H-pipe should work on your car and then pick out your mufflers.

Oh alright guy's well. i would install the k&n man but my stock air filter box was broke tubing was broke also so i went aftermarket i was looking in jeg's actually and looking at ram air for like 86to93 mustangs do you guy's think that would work on my car? and 94blk5.0 i just did my exhaust got the 40 series flowmaster mufflers , straight pipe cut off the cats and ran an H -pipe also gotta love the sound of the flowmasters

was looking at this BBK cold air intake that this guy has on car domain. but i can't seem to find it on a site or any place like that . cause he has that intake in my car so i know it would work . any links or anything like that would help if you guys know any i would really appericate it.

I would guess a Fox CAI would work, maybe no the fenderwell one, but that is purely speculation. Look up pics of a Fox 5.0 underhood, and see if the hookups/layout of the intake tract is the same.
I bet people turn their heads when the Hot Rod Lincoln roars by.

the ram air's dont seem to be that good, just get a regular cai not a fenderwell.
