Before you read this, i know its a 4 banger and i WILL get flamed for it, but i want some of your opinions. Theres more people in this section of the forum. And, one day, im planning on dropping a 5.0 in once i have more money for gas, and once my engine/trans goes.
Yay
Need to get new bulbs for the headlights, since the new headlights use 9007 bulbs, instead of the 9004 that are stock.
Going to go aroudn town tomorow and get quotes for tint, 5% all around
Anddd i have blackouts for the tailights that i need velcro for.
Other than that, getting a new head unit soon, and new interior speakers as my front right is blown out. Also thinking of getting a small 10in sub, or a low power 12. Nothing gigantic, i just want to have some bass to it.
I had blackouts for the headlights, but they were god awful at night. Couldnt see jack ****. So i got these projectors, but i still have to wire up the 2nd bulbs.
Ohh, also forgot. Picked up a remote start/keyless entry unit for 25$ on clearance. Theres a hell of a lot of wiring and **** that i have to look into. This weekend, ill take the day to figure it all out.
Total cost to date, out of my pocket: $1000.
Wheels ------- 400$
Tires----------100$
Brakes --------300$
Headlights ----100$
Various Parts--100$
The paint and body work is being worked off in a barter situation

Looks good. Way the hell better than before. If i were you I would paint as much of the interior as you could and get some seat covers. And personally i think the headlights are kinda cool. How did you manage to get wheels so cheap? Not personally the ones I would go for, but i can't find any rims/tires for under a grand.

Instead of all the new audio equipment and the window tint you can easily have a 5.0 motor and then will just have to save up for everything else you need to do the swap...

Nice looking fox. I agree with others on the head lights, but hey its your car. I'm also not crazy about black outs on the back. From what i can tell with your pics the car looks strait, the fenders and doors line up good, hell even the molding looks nice.At least you have a good foundation for the v8 that you hopefully plan to put in some day. One of the sharpest 4cyl i have seen. That car has been well cared for.
Congrats on a nice coupe.

The car looks good, just not crazy about the headlights and paint the drums.

Paint the drums, but no m4d tyt3 vt4k red or a bright color.
It's true, a 5.0 swap wouldn't cost you much. Save the tint/system money and get a V8!
