i have a powerdyne n it blew up on me!!!!! yes i agree with everybody that they are junk but only when u get them straight from the factory. there are several companys out there that have redesigne the powerdyne supercharger. the new design comes with a better impellar that allows it to turn up to 60,000 rpms (factory 40,000) and way better bearings. check into whats in the supercharger n make sure that it dont have the factory internals. if it does have the factory internals then yea its junk.

appreciate the honesty. i just might do that... the only reason i got it for one of course it was the cheapest one out there and secondly i have a good friend that has been running one for about 2 years pushing about 500 hp in a 94 lx converted to a cobra.

thanks for the help. im not trying to make a full blown race car.. the ac works great and even the cruise control. I dont race the car because of how much money i have already invested in it. I want the charger simply for if i ever feel the need to blow by somebody i know ill have all the power i need. the kit i ordered is a 9 psi. figured it should be good for at least 450 hp.
