Default Ebay Intakes?

Just browsing on ebay today for 5.0 mustang stuff. Noticed that there are a ton of 20$ cold air intakes. What are your opinions on these. At first I thaught they had to be junk, After Looking at the pics they look similar to BBK cold air intakes.

not sure exactly what your looking at, but when i was shopping for a CAI for my 06, i ended up getting a k&n typhoon knockoff from ebay for less than half of the k&n price. as a bonus it was polished aluminum where the k&n was plastic[:'(]

granted its not the best intake out there for my car by any means, but it was certainly worth the 80 bucks or so i paid (shipping included)

those CAI are usually just pipes, rubber joints, and a filter. the price is because it is not a name brand

I would imagine that this intake should work fine. Its just a filter and piping.
Has anyone out there in mustangland purchased other offshore products on ebay?
I bought a shifter and works great.

If you understand the concept of a cold air intake, then you would agree that the ebay ones work just as good. As for fitment, mine fits fine, and Ive never seen anyone have a problem....
