Default Clutch Cable?

Need a new clutch cable...what is your recommendation?

While I am in there, I am definitely replacing the quadrant...

Should I get the firewall adjuster??

I have to choose between BBK and Steeda from 50Resto....because I am ordering my fuel lines from them too

What do you think?

Back in the day, I did a clutch quadrant and cable...and it was adjustable only at the cable end....

Is it the same with the firewall adjuster?I never seen one...

To me it looks like a fixed position at the quadrant, and adjustable at the cable end and at the firewall??

How do they work?

The BBK has been good to me. The quadrant is more of a pain than the cable. Get the firewall adjuster.

The steeda quadrant has 2 slots for the clutch cable to go in. The end that goes on the clutch fork has a nut so u can loosen or tighten. And I believe the firewall adjuster you can turn by hand to tighten or loosen too.
I did most of my adjusteding by the clutch fork and it was pretty much good to go, so I didnt really mess with the quadrant too much, just a few turns

Yeah getting the quadrant out was a pain... You dont have to reuse the springs so just use a screwdriver to pry them boogers off

The reason for the firewall adjuster is so that when it does need the occasional adjustment, it can be done easily from under the hood rather than getting under the car. Originally, you want it set at the fork.
