You have to add a fuel source as well. Some people do it with a fuel solenoid for nitrous running from the gas tank and they add a spark plug to the rear of the pipes. Hit the switch to send fuel and ignite it and you now have a very illegal flamethrower set.

You either need to run rich, add fuel injector to your tail pipe or cut into your ignition so that some cylinders dont fire every once in a while and then it will basically dump all that fuel into your exhaust and if you have cats it wont work but without cats you just need a spark plug in yout tail pipe to ignite the fuel...and the spark plug applys for all 3 options...

I'm not for sure if it'll work right on a fuel injected car. Unless you add a fuel source. If it's carbed it's easier. Some old guys told me that you had to have straight pipes, adjust your carb richer, andwire a toggle switch into your hot wire to your ignition coil. Then wire the toggle to another coil pack and a spark plug at the end of the exhaust. Rev it up.......hit the toggle and.......Flames!!! The toggle kills the coil that runs the motor and fires up the one in back. That's what they said anyways. I never tried it. I think you can buy kits off of ebay, or somewhere.....I know I've seen them somewhere.
