Default How Can You Tell....

If a car is a original 5L or a 4cl transplant? My cousin came by (he thinks he knows everything...he does know somewhat about cars...but not as much as he claims of course) anywayssss. He looks at my car and the first thing he says is "That's not a real 5L" i'm like "uhhh yes it is, why do you say it isnt" "oh because they don't come 5L without the skirts (obviously he's talking about a GT)" and he claims that real 5L don't say Mustang on the rear quarter window....I explain to him that mine is an LX not a GT, and he still says that mine isn't real...i'm like run the numbers i'll bet you lol. Anyways...then he offers me $2500 for it, and I decline...he goes on to tell me I won't be able to afford the insurance and won't be able to drive it in the winter lol. What a jackass. Anyways...how can you tell the difference?

Google fox mustang vin decoder, you shouldnt have a problem with it in the winter as long as you have GOOD snow tires, if you try to run even new all seasons you will be scrwed trying to get around here

Not a big deal...I was thinking about picking up a beater 4x4 (Explorer, Jimmy/Blazer, old chev) for the winter and driving it.

Thanks for the link.

PS- Thanks for the light, put it on after it stopped raining...looks wayyy better than mine.
