I am kinda going for looks but still want the horse. I have a gt-40 with ported lower. The lower has a crack in 1 spot and has an annoying vacuum leak at idle. I can get another lower butI spent many hours porting it and then painted and cleared with my spray gun. I also have the cover for it, but its powercoated black and I think there is too much black. I kinda want a polished trick flow, what do you think? I am open for other suggestions. Heres a good pic, which what look better.

 

You could just get the lower tig welded and just smooth the weld out. I like the looks of your black gt40 manifold. That is a clean looking engine bay.

I know that tmoss ported gt40 intakes flow the same as a box stock tf street intake but have a smaller runners so it produces more torque.

 

Or you could polish a Trick Flow


Or even have the Trick Flow Chromed if you want.

 

You can even JB weld your crack up if you don't want to repaint. I would just fix it.

 

Damn you almost stock always showing me up. J/K but thats what I was lookin into. You shined the hell out of that.

 

I also forgot to say that I think the crack isn't causing the leak. It was bought used so it could be uneven surface.
