89 Engine codes
Bored and doing some reading.. Just saw that in 89 there were 3 engine codes.
1989 Mustang VIN Decoder
Engine Codes
4 is 3.8L EFI V-6 145hp
E is 5.0L EFI V-8 215hp
0is 5.0L EFI V-8 240hp
Whats the "0" code. What car would that have been in? Also what VIN number is the engine code. Is it the 8th or the 9th?

You were right... bad source of info. Found another site and got the correct information. I was hoping to find what the original color was for my car. I guess they did not record that in the VIN.
