Id like to know a little info about the NMRA pure street class. Id like to know what the rules are for the class and what it takes to win.

 

pure street is a bitch to win too many guys out there with a lot more money than you have that are taking home the win man, good luck

one of the veteran racers sayeth you need at least 100 grand to even compet in this series.....I think ill stick to friday night test and tune in dinwiddie virginia

 

I might try my luck in true street at the next FFW

 

Pure street is definately a tought class, but 100,000 is a little high. Ive quoted engines for them and between 20-25k is what you would spend for a competitive engine. I would say 60K is an ideal amount for a Pure Street Car. Im 24 and 45% complete ona P/S car. A buddy is setting a car up for Hot Street and 100k for that class is about right.
