what color should i paint my motor . im in the process of rebuilding it now but i plan on painting the car either pearl white or burnt orange or possibly the 40th aniv blue .

Chrome spray paint ftw! Haha, what's the use of painting the motor a special color when it's gonna get dirty anyway (especially if it's a dd).

Ok, i wondered. In that case, i've always liked a flat black motor with aluminum parts around it Gives it a tough look and it would go nicely with 40th aniv. blue.

cant go wrong with black... maybe a gloss, Ive always been big on ford blue or gunmetal...

Just because the car is a DD doesnt mean the motor is going to get dirty; and you can always wash it

I would go black without a doubt.

Yea, and I guess leaving it unpainted hasnt been done before either right? I guess everyone pulls their motors and paints their block. And no black doesnt always look like a$$ after 10k. All it takes is some kind of cleaner and a hose
