Default 1985 GT ?

What are the average selling prices for 85 GT's with 5spd and T-Top?

Anything that I should be aware of ? They come with a 7.5 rearend , don't they?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

My '85 ran rough, has small rust holes in the floorboards(where the seats mount), a dented quarter panel, and needed some TLC. I gave $700 for mine. It was rough but you could've drove it the way it was. I post some pics of mine. It has the 5-speed, and t-tops.But you can find them for all prices... it just depends on how nice you want it to be.

Who the hell would do that to a Mustang!? Poor thing...

Around St. Louis, $2,500 for a piece of ****, and $5,000 for a nice one. There really isn't a middle of the road.

my 85 was a real POS at 250.00 when I bought it but now it's an overpriced gem..... but they are nice cars if you can find one that hasn't been ridden hard and put away wet!!! they are the last of the carbed cars

Yeah, I will probably go check it out onMonday. Its a local car I happend to see in the newspaper classifieds. It's White with grey interior, 5.0, 5spd, T-Tops(but the guy said he lost the key,WTF?), pwr windows, I forget to ask if it had AC, but the trans was rebuilt a year ago. It has a little over 100K miles in it. He said its in good condition, but I will have to see.

Are the T-Top keys universial? Could I buy one at the dealership, or have a lock-smith make a new one? If I can not get the top off, I probably wouldn't be interested in it.

no need to worry a locksmith can take care of that...when I bought my 66 mustang the guy didn't have door keys so I had the locksmith work his wonder and 15 dollars latter I had a set of keys made to fit the door locks!! so I wouldn't base your decision not to buy it solely on the fact the owner doesn't have t-top keys
