It Should fit regardless of year. you do know that you have to adjust the fender for it to fit correctly right? That is why you have small bolts and big holes in the fender where it mounts.

where is it not fitting correctly at? I was told the same thing on the ones I was given.. they were off a 93 going on a 90.... but if you look at most sites they offer a different one for 91+ than the 79-90.. Ive heard its the molding, Ive heard its because they changed the fit for bigger factory wheels in 91, etc... no clue the real reason, but it doesnt line up against the bumper of my 90 at all.

I'll add these to this:

Like I said, not sure what the difference is (on why they offer different ones for different years..)... and still have never had anyone fully explain it to me. lol

I had to get a new drivers side fender for my 87 GT, I went to the junkyard and got one of an 87 LX, I just had to do some minor work to get my ground effects to fit, other than that I didnt have any problems getting it to fit on my car...

just a guess! the bracket could be alittle different. i can't see why it don't fitbut who knows? i re-done my whole front cap and couldn't get it to line up correctly.i took it to my friend who has a bodyshop and he thought i done a dam good job on assembling it. however, he told me this is where experience comes into play. no **** after i got it back from him it was straight as a fiddle. don't know how he got some of it to line up but he did it.

The fender you got was for a 87-90 the fender you need is for a 91-93. The fender extensions are different. The extension on the 91-93 are shorter than the ones on the 87-90. I would bet you fender extension is about 1/4" to short on the bottom an just about the right length on the top.
