Sounds good.

Expect 350-400rwhp depending on compression and cam specs

Adder is a very over confident person.

$1300 is way to much money.

I would charge half of that.
[sm=funnypostabove.gif] Yeah then I'd laugh my ace off at you when you ran into rusted/ stripped bolts little extra mods need to make the kit work not listed usually found in the fine print not read by anyone.......[&:]Don't know what figure Adder is using for a labor rate but he's right in line with cost....standard engine swaps just for a stock 5.0 is between 15 to 20 hrs and if your adding performance parts that usually require a few tweaks here and there along with mods to make them work then by the time your done you may have 25 to 30 hrs in the job considering you'd better factor in that things will not always go as planned...so don't try and be the cheapest ***** around.....you'll get what you pay for and not what you anticipated trust me....

You think I haven't messed with these engines before?

I do not charge 'dealership rates.'

I chargehow hard the job is.

And it is not a hard job.

If you do it enough, you do not run into those little problems as much as one used too.

In fact, I'd charge less than half, there I said it.

The AFR 185, Systemax, Custom cam idea sounds great for a stock block combo.

Goals (layed down to the grinder), compression, accessories, transmission, powerband, STD, SAE, etc, etc., all playa factor in final rear wheel horsepower output.

I'll do it for $100 and a case of Budweiser and a pack of smokes, but I can't guarantee my work and I can't give you a reasonable time frame...

You'll also have to provide my airfare and room and board so I can do it in your driveway (you'll also have to provide me with some tools)...

Let me know.
