Default no cats?

The cats are getting cut off my car and replaced by straight pipes. Noticable difference in perf. and sound?

you wont notice much in performance unless they were clogged or getting that way.. then it may be a big difference, but there will be quite a bit different sound.. and you will probably notice a different smell from the exhaust with more fuel making it out.

Then you shouldnt have to cut off the cats.. Cats are not on off road pipes.

I noticed a diff in performance, because my cats had 115k miles on them. But the sound is unmatchable. I dont understand... you have a catted h and want to switch to o/r, right?

I would sell your catted H pipe(if it isn't stock it is worth something) and buy and off road H instead of cutting one apart.

Oh hell yeah. I hear for the most part that the aftermarket catted h's dont even pass smog anyway. I have the stock pipe in the garage and run with the o/r
